Naming and logo design for Snegiri Village (Krasnaya Polyana)

Snegiri Village is a new eco resort in Krasnaya Polyana, Sochi - where the 22nd Winter Olympics took place. 5 months a year - November through March - skiers and snowboarders crowd the place. The rest of the year - so-called low season - big families with kids tend to rent the 2-storey wood cottages built in traditional Russian style.
But Snegiri was not the only option: we brainstormed a lot on the name. There were worthy options - all in Russian and their meaning would be lost in translation. Snegiri means bullfinches, red-chested little birds, one of the most popular symbols of Russia.
(Yozhiki - the lower image, version 7 - means Little Hedgehogs. Yes, we know, it's a little absurd but couldn't resist the urge to draw them.)
